Day 17

Today is the final day of my 17 days of random acts of kindness. Today I helped my mum by keeping an eye on my sister while she slept. I am happy with my 17 days of random acts of kindness and I think it has made me a better person. I will continue doing those little things that brighten up someone's day as well as mine. I encourage anyone that reads this blog tries their own little days of kindness and see for yourself.

Day 16

Today is the second to last day of doing this project. Today I helped my violin teacher by packing up the scattered violin music for her. I feel good I could have helped, I'll do this again some time if I had the chance:)

Day 15

Today I looked after my sister, who is one, for forty minutes. I knew this helped my mum because she finally gets some free time to read a book. Taking care of my sister leaves her with absoulutely no time to do things she wanted to do. I was glad I could help her.

Day 13

I know I made a difference because she said thank you to me. I was glad I could help my friends and make their day easier.

Day 11

Today was the end of daylight saving. I got up really early and went outside to change the clock times. If I didn't do this my parents would have to. I felt happy I could do just some small things that would make things a little easier for everyone else.

Day 10

Today I woke up early and no one was up. I did all the morning chores and made breakfast. I was happy that I did this because I could watch TV afterwards. My parents were happy and so was I. What a great start to the day!!:)

Day 9

Today I cleaned the living room without being asked. My parents were happy and quite surprised because I never used to clean the living room. I feel happy that I can do little things that make people feel better.

Day 7

Today I helped my mum look after my little sister. This isn't something I usually do because my little sister, aged 1, is always really cranky. I feel relieved that she wasn't too bad today. I was also quite happy because we some games together. This helped my mum a lot, she sometimes has to get up at midnight to look after my sister.

Day 6

Today at school I was typing on a laptop. I saw Nicola from my class asked the teacher if she could use a computer, our teacher said yes. When Nicola looked around, there were no more computers left. I gave her my laptop and told her she could use it. I am glad I helped her because afterwards I realised that I couldn't make any use of the laptop anyway because the people that I am supposed to help with the laptop weren't here anyway.

Day 5

Today I helped my friend learn how to play a new song. I knew she had trouble with the song because she told me to teach her to play it. I was happy because I can teach others and let them improve.

Day 4

Today when I went ice skating with my friends. As we playing around, someone lost their footing on the ice and fell over. I normally would just ignore them, but today I went up and helped her up. I know I made a difference to this stranger because she said "thank you" to me. I am happy to know that I can be nice to a person I have never set my eyes on before.

Day 3

Today I made breakfast for my parents so they had one less thing to do. I know they appreciated it because they were more cheerful at breakfast. This gave me a happy feeling and I hoped that I could do more to help them.

Day 2

Today I washed the dishes without being told twice. I know this made a difference for my parents even though they didn't say anything. My sister now has a sore throat and will not eat or drink anything, and also she will not stop crying. I feel happy that I've done this and I hope my sister gets well soon.

Day 1

Today I helped my mum mop up the "accident" my baby sister left on the floor. My sister is feverish and my mum is tired because she has been carrying my sister all day. I know I have helped my mum because she looked much less tired after I have done this and she also said "thank you" to me.
